HSMG Awarded Contract to Provide Inpatient Hospitalist Services at Mercy Folsom Hospital

Hospitalist Services Medial Group is excited to announce that it has been awarded a contract to begin providing Inpatient Hospitalist Services to the patients of Mercy Hospital Folsom starting November 1, 2007. Our physicians work closely with the patients’ primary care medical providers as well as any specialty consultants that are necessary to provide the highest quality care to the patients of Folsom and the surrounding communities. The medical providers of HSMG also collaborate with the Emergency Department physicians to facilitate timely admission of patients to the hospital to continue the treatments that were initiated in the Emergency Department.
By having medical providers available and on-site 24/7 we can rapidly respond to any changes in patient condition as well as be available for frequent re-evaluation as needed to determine the most appropriate time for a patient to be discharged home. Nursing staff, patient’s families, and primary medical providers all appreciate the open lines of communication that we bring to the hospitals that we serve.
